Samuel Obeng scored from close range in SD Huesca’s 2-0 victory over FC Andorra in the Spanish La Liga 2 on Friday.
The Ghanaian international started the game at the Estadio El Alcoraz and played a crucial role in the win, lasting 86 minutes on the pitch.
The game took a dramatic turn in the 27th minute when FC Andorra’s Diego Alende was shown a red card, leaving his team with ten men for the rest of the match.
Just two minutes later, Obeng capitalized on the set piece situation, scoring a right-footed shot from very close range to the high center of the goal. The goal was assisted by Jorge Pulido, and it gave SD Huesca the lead they needed to control the game.
Obeng continued to cause problems for the FC Andorra defense throughout the match, using his strength and speed to create chances for himself and his teammates. In the 64th minute, Elady scored the second goal for SD Huesca, with an assist from Ignasi Vilarrasa following a corner.
