VIDEO: Watch Prince Osei Owusu’s brace for Toronto against Charlotte

Prince Osei Owusu’s impressive double strike wasn’t enough to secure a win for Toronto FC, as they fell short against on Sunday morning.

In an exhilarating showdown at the Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte FC clinched a narrow 3-2 victory over their opponents.

The match kicked off with Kerwin Vargas putting Charlotte FC ahead with a stellar strike in the 39th minute.

However, Toronto FC quickly responded as Prince Osei Owusu swiftly equalized just four minutes into the second half.

Despite the setback, Charlotte FC regained the lead through Liel Abada, only to see Osei Owusu level the score once again with a well-timed tap-in from a pass by Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty in the 78th minute.

With the outcome hanging in the balance, Owusu’s compatriot Patrick Agyemang, brought on just a minute after Charlotte FC conceded their second goal, emerged as the game-changer.

Agyemang secured the victory for Charlotte FC with a composed finish in the 85th minute.

Owusu, who came on as a second-half substitute, notched his second and third goals of the season in eight matches.
