Former Asante Kotoko left-back Ibrahim Imoro was on target for the first time for Al Hilal in their 2-1 away win over Alfalah Atbra in the Sudanese Premier League.
The 23-year-old put up an impressive display to help his side come from behind to secure all three points and keep their hopes of defending the league title alive.
After a goalless first half, Alfalah took the lead in the 49th minute but Imoro equalised for Al Hilal 10 minutes later after scoring a stunning freekick from the edge of the box.
Congolese forward Glody Lilepo Makabi converted from the spot moments later to make it 2-1 for Al Hilal.
The Omdurman club scored again through Walid Altorah but was ruled out for offside five minutes from the final whistle.
Imoro, who lasted the entire duration of the game joined Al Hilal from Asante Kotoko for a fee around US$150,000.
He has since been one of the consistent performers at the club this season.
