The draw prompted a shift in the league standings, with the Dade boys moving from 8th to 5th place on the table, amassing 16 points after 11 games. On the other hand, the visitors maintain their position at 4th with 17 points, trailing league leaders Aduana FC by four points.
Great Olympics entered the game following a 2-0 defeat to Dreams FC, while Samartex claimed a 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in their previous match.
The first 45 minutes of the game failed to produce any goals, leaving both teams level as they entered the halftime break. The second half mirrored the first, with Great Olympics unable to turn the tide in their favor.
Looking ahead, Great Olympics are scheduled to face defending champions Medeama SC at the Tarkwa Akoon Park on Saturday, November 25, 2023, in match week 12 of the Ghana Premier League.
