English-born Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei scored a header in Leyton Orient’s 3-0 win against Portsmouth at Fratton Park
The match unfolded with a tense start, both teams vying for control in a deadlock-breaking quest.
Orient had been the superior side in the first half hour, and they were rewarded at the 30-minute mark. Sanders finished a nice team move by putting a wonderful ball through to Shaqai Forde, who controlled himself before slotting into the net.
The visitors got off to a good start, and they increased their lead a few minutes later. Dan Happe poked an Archibald corner goalwards, and his effort grazed Jordan Brown’s leg and trickled across the line.
Daniel Agyei scored just before halftime. An in-swinging Archibald corner caused havoc, and Agyei met it with a bullet header that almost destroyed the net.
The 26-year-old has made nine appearances, scored two goals, and assisted one in League One this season.
