Mohammed Kudus scored his first ever goal in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening.

The Ghana midfielder was handed his first start of the season as Ajax thrashed Rangers 4-0 at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Edson Alvarez gave the hosts an early before Kudus provided a beautiful assist to Steven Berghuis to make it 2-0.

The Ghanaian got in on the act with a beautiful solo goal in the 33rd minute.

Mohammed Kudus, receiving the ball from former Ger Calvin Bassey, turned away from James Tavernier before driving forward and rifling a stunning rising drive past Jon McLaughlin and in off the inside of his left-hand post.

Bergwijn scored late in the second half to wrap up what turned out to be a very impressive display by the Dutch giants.
