Ghana winger Ibrahim Sadiq made it back-to-back scoring outings as league leaders BK Häcken secured a 2-1 away victory over AIK Stockholm on match-day 27 of the 2022 Swedish Allsvenskan Wednesday evening.
The 22-year-old – who was making his 15th appearance – increased his season’s tally to 6 goals by giving the visitors the advantage with a header from the far post just two minutes after kickoff.
AIK huffed and puffed in their chase for the equaliser and matters turned worse in the 69th minute when Yasin Ayari got sent off after a second yellow card offence.
Häcken made the numerical advantage count by doubling the lead through Alexander Jeremejeff 5 minutes from time.
John Guidetti got the consolation for AIK by converting a penalty right into stoppage time.
The 2-1 victory sees BK Häcken further move close to annexing their third Swedish Championship. The Wasps – 1990 and 1999 winners – lead the Allsvenskan standings with 57 points after 27 matches.
