VIDEO: Debutant Osman Bukari nets for Red Star Belgrade in league opener

Ghana international Osman Bukari marked his Serbian SuperLiga debut with a goal as five-time consecutive champions Red Star Belgrade started their title defense with a convincing 4-0 victory over Radnički Niš Sunday night.

The 23-year-old winger – who was signed from KAA Gent in the summer transfer window – was handed a starting berth and featured 71 minutes for the side coached by ex-player Dejan Stanković.

The game was practically decided in half an hour as the red and whites blew the visitors away with three goals at the Red Star Stadium.

Aleksandar Katai was the first on the scoresheet by putting away a penalty in the third minute.

Zambian midfielder, also a new signing, Kings Kangwa scored in the 25th minute.

And six minutes on, Milan Pavkov netted to make it 3-0.

At the beginning of the second half, newcomer Bukari also joined the scorers by feeding on a Mirko Ivanić assist.
