Brazil paid the Ghana Football Association $90,000 for the FIFA international friendlies against the Black Stars of Ghana in September, according to Hon. Mustapha Ussif, the Minister for youth and sports.
Richarlison of Tottenham scored twice in the first half as Brazil easily defeated Ghana in a friendly which was played in Le Havre, France.
The attacker combined well with Neymar in the encounter. He pounced on a ball from the outside of the box and fired into the bottom corner before meeting a well-taken free kick.
PSG defender opened the scoring for the Selecao very early in the game scoring a header from a set piece from Raphinha.
In a second half where Ghana improved a bit, the team managed to create a few chances but could not get on the scoresheet.
Eventually, Brazil beat Ghana 3-0 at the end of the contest in Le Havre.
Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey made his debut against Brazil.
