Following Monday’s announcement of Ghana’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, a heartwarming video of Daniel Afriyie’s mother has surfaced online where she celebrates her son’s call-up.
The Hearts of Oak star was one of two home-based players included by Coach Otto Addo in his final 26-man roster for tournament in Qatar.
Speaking in an interview with 3sports shortly after the announcement, Madam Comfort Akosua Konadu could not hold back her joy as she shared the proud moment with some members of the family.
