Ghana star Kudus Mohammed was on target for the fifth successive game as AFC Ajax went down to their first league defeat of the season away to AZ Alkmaar on Sunday.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder now turned striker, who scored in the Uefa Champions League against Liverpool in midweek, was on the mark again to put Ajax ahead in the 12th minute after Kenneth Taylor broke the offside trap. Watch goal.

But Mees de Wit capitalised on a slip by Ajax right-back Devyne Rensch to slide in the equaliser for the hosts five minutes before half-time.
Six minutes after the break, Jens Odgaard caught the Ajax defence napping to collect a long pass from Pantelis Hatzidiakos and fire home from an unmarked position.
Kudus – now on six goals so far this season – was substituted after 82 minutes.
The 2-1 defeat sees Ajax drop to second behind PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Eredivise standings on goal difference. Both teams are locked on 18 points after 7 matches.
