In a generous gesture, H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), presented a cash donation of GH₵50,000.00 to Real Tamale United (RTU). The contribution was handed over on Monday during Dr. Bawumia’s visit to his residence in Tamale.
Despite Real Tamale United facing challenges in the current 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, Dr. Bawumia assured them of his commitment to addressing the club’s issues. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RTU, Architect Jawhari Baba Dua, expressed gratitude on behalf of the team and presented Dr. Bawumia with a customized RTU replica jersey.
Looking ahead, Real Tamale United is set to face FC Samartex 1996 in a matchday 12 game on Sunday at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.
