Vera Bema leads goal-scoring chart in Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League

Grace Bema of Army Ladies tops the goal scorers chart in the first round of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League with 7 goals in nine games.

In Second place is Mary-Rose Akinne of Northern Ladies with 6 goals, while, Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah sits third in the chart with 5 goals. Fidous Yakubu (Hasaacas Ladies), Faustina Tiwaa (Supreme Ladies) and Gloria Ameaa (Fosu Royal Ladies) have netted four goals each in the League.

Two hundred and one (201) goals were scored in Eighty-five (85) League games. Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies have four games in hand, while, Northern Ladies, Ashtown Ladies, Dreamz Ladies, Prisons Ladies, Tamale Super Ladies and Kumasi Sports Academy have one outstanding game each.
