Forward Felix Afena Gyan has been handed late call up to the Black Meteors team ahead of Algeria clash in the U23 Nations Cup qualifiers.
Having handed invitations to eight foreign-based players, Coach Ibrahim Tankoh decided to include Felix Afena Gyan of Cremonese for the upcoming encounter.
The 19-year-old is expected to join his teammates in camp to start preparations towards the Algeria clash on Friday.
The former AS Roma forward was omitted from Coach Otto Addo’s FIFA World Cup squad that represented Ghana in Qatar last year.
The Black Meteors will travel to Algeria for the first leg encounter against Algeria in Annaba at 21:00GMT.
