U-20 WWC: Black Princesses are in good shape – Nora Häuptle

Technical Director for the Black Princesses, Nora Hauptle says the team is prepared for the Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup.

Ghana plays their first game against USA and for the technical team lead, the signs are good for the ladies.

“In all, we are satisfied. We had a good recovery and preparation for the first group match so far.

“We have to be more precise and tactically disciplined on how we want to play the USA.

“But we are in a good mood and it has been raining a lot but we take it as it is and stay focused,” Nora said.

Ghana played series of friendlies and won the last one against Club Sport Herediano 6-0.

“With this last game, corrections were done in terms of game play and there are still little details we need to shape on, tactical wise.

“We will have a video analysis session with the team and shift our focus to the USA game.”

The Princesses will open their Group D
campaign against the United States of America on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Estadio Alejandro Morera at 17:00 GMT.

Ghana’s other group D opponents are Netherlands and Japan.
