Ghana will continue their journey in the African qualifiers to the India 2022 Fifa U-17 Women’s World Cup with a third-round clash against Guinea.
The Black Maidens – after receiving a by in the first round – overcame West African neighbours Senegal in the second with a 4-0 aggregate scoreline in March.

Coach Baba Nuhu’s girls – who have since been camping and fine tuning at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram – now face the Guineans in the penultimate qualifying round and play away first.
The first leg comes off at Stade Général Lansana Conté de Nongo on Saturday, April 16 while the second leg is scheduled for a fortnight later.
Coach Baba Nuhu is expected to name his squad for the showdown in Conakry later in the week.
A successful negotiation into the fourth and final round could see Ghana battling one of Niger or Morocco over two legs.
The aggregate winner will pick one of Africa’s three slots to the India 2022 Fifa U-17 Women’s World Cup later in October.
