Adrien Rabiot is prone to a few bad spells per season according to Thomas Tuchel.
Rabiot is being linked with a move to Chelsea this summer as the Blues aim to bolster their defence, midfield and attack ahead of the new season. It is understood that if any Chelsea midfielders were to depart this summer, it would be Jorginho who is angling for a move back to Serie A and interested club Juventus will need to remove one of their own players to compensate for the arrival of the former Napoli man.
Therefore, it’s no surprise to see Les Bleus international Rabiot be included on a Juve selling transfer list and the latest update from Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano could be significant for the Blues, who with Man United, are yet to make a signing so far in this summer’s transfer window. He tweeted: “Adrien Rabiot has been included in Juventus transfer list, so there are chances for him to be sold – and he wants to leave the club this summer. Premier League clubs are already exploring this possibility.”
“In my opinion, Adrien lost some confidence and his place because also Julian Draxler took his chance. The team played well, we won,” Tuchel said back in 2018 when explaining why he dropped the Frenchman ahead of the 2019 January transfer window.
“It is difficult and that’s why every game is important. Every player needs to perform at every game, and every training session. They need to show that they are ready to win.”
