Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford are the front runners to sign Christian Eriksen, as per the Athlteic.

Man Utd trail Spurs and Brentford in Eriksen race

Spurs and Brentford are leading the race to sign the midfielder as his preference is to remain in London.

The Athletic add that a return to north London for Eriksen is “fairly likely”.

Tottenham have always been confident of re-signing Eriksen and even more so now they have Champions League football.

However, the Bees have also had positive talks with Eriksen.

Thomas Frank and the Danish international had dinner on Tuesday and had a “good talk” about him returning.
