Hearts of Oak Sporting Club’s Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV, has reaffirmed the club’s commitment to assembling the best possible football squad.
Speaking after receiving the handing-over notes for the club’s newly built Commercial Centre, Togbe Afede XIV emphasized the board’s dedication to strengthening the team.
The new facility, which includes a museum showcasing the club’s rich history and administrative offices, marks a significant investment in Hearts of Oak’s infrastructure.
Following a narrow escape from relegation last season, Togbe Afede XIV acknowledged the need to improve the playing squad.
“Management is committed, board is committed to assembling the best squad possible. Sometimes it takes time because some constraints are beyond your control,” He said.
“You may want a player who is not available…to ensure that professional-wise, we are solid, management-wise we are solid, in terms of players, we are solid.
“We are happy that we are building strengths across all the sectors of football.”
The 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League is scheduled to kick off on September 6.
