Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV visited the team in camp ahead of the commencement of the 2022/2023 football season.
Togbe arrived at the team’s base in the Ashanti region on Sunday morning alongside other top officials to motivate the squad as they prepare to mount another title challenge in the forthcoming campaign.
The Phobians will travel to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars in their mouth-watering opening league fixture next weekend.
Togbe urged the squad to work hard as a unit with high-level of discipline which he described as the fundamental ingredients to success.
He also assured the playing body and the technical staff of his unflinching support throughout the season.
“Discipline and humility are key to success. Hard work and teamwork are all needful ingredients if you want to be successful in every aspect of your profession. Everything we (the club) do, we do for your success. We most certainly want you all to succeed by rising very high in your chosen fields, so there is a need for hard work, loyalty and teamwork to prevail”.
“We want you to have that mentality of winning and that should start from Sunday. No game will come that easy but when you put in hard work, stay focused and remain discipline you will surely make it”.
Senior Board member, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Hon. Vincent Sowah-Odotei and Alhaji Imoro Briamah all took turns to address the team and encouraged them to stay focused, remain discipline and play their hearts out for the success of the team at all times to continually bring success to the team.
