Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update regarding Thomas Partey ahead of their highly-anticipated clash against Tottenham Hotspurs in the English Premier League.

Themidfielder, has been sidelined from action for the Gunners due to a groin injury he sustained during training on August 31, 2023.

Consequently, he missed Arsenal’s fixture against Manchester United and was unable to participate in the September international break.

In the injury update, Arteta revealed that the Ghana international is still in the recovery process and will not be available for the upcoming clash against Tottenham on Sunday.

Arteta also mentioned that they are still assessing the condition of Gabriel Martinelli to determine if he will be fit to play in the game.

“With Martinelli, we are still assessing him so let see if he can make the game on not. Thomas for sure is out and the rest of the squad are available” he said.
