Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has hinted he could leave Arsenal this summer, with his contract set to expire at the end of June.
Speaking to Ghana’s TV3 while on international duty, Partey said his next move would be based on where he feels most at home, highlighting personal happiness and family as key factors.
“The first thing is where you are happy and where you feel at home,” he said. “Then it’s about your next objective… We all have a family that needs money ; that’s always in our mind.”
While Arsenal are reportedly in talks to extend his deal, no agreement has been reached. The club’s interest in Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi has further fuelled speculation about Partey’s future.
The 31-year-old made 52 appearances last season after bouncing back from an injury-hit spell, but a final decision on his future is expected in the coming weeks.
