Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Thomas Partey’s fitness ahead of their Premier League clash against Leicester City on Saturday.
The Ghanaian international has been out of action since picking up a muscle injury in training two weeks ago.
The 29 year old missed the matches against Manchester City and Aston Villa as result.
However, the manager has confirmed that the midfielder might make the trip to the King Power Stadium.
When discussing team news in his pre-match press conference, Mikel said:
“He hasn’t trained much but it looks like he could be available. Let’s see how he trains today. He’s a really important player for us that we missed in the last few games,” Arteta said.
