Ghana and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has shared valuable advice with young players in the country, emphasizing the importance of hard work and visibility in achieving success in football.
According to Partey, his own journey to Europe was facilitated by someone who spotted his talent and offered him an opportunity in his younger days.
However, he cautions against relying solely on luck.
“I was working hard, but I was lucky to get someone who saw me and said I want to take you to Europe. But I won’t be waiting for that luck for other people. I want them to come and get it themselves,” Partey said to 3Sports while talking about the secomd edition of the Thomas Partey Cup.
The midfielder believes that being seen by multiple people increases one’s chances of getting noticed by top teams.
