Thomas Partey is likely to miss Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Everton on Saturday.
The Ghanaian international is a major doubt for the trip to Goodison Park after sustaining an injury during Arsenal’s FA Cup defeat by Manchester City last Friday.
“That one is still a doubt,” Arteta said on Friday when asked about Partey’s availability ahead of the encounter.
“Let’s see today how he comes in, and whether he’s able to train with the team or not, and we’ll make the decision on that.
“It’s not ruled out and it’s nothing very significant, but it was significant enough to get him out of the (City) game, which for Thomas is a bit unusual, but hopefully he will be fine.”
