Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank has praised Mohammed Kudus for his outstanding display in Spurs’ pre-season victory over Arsenal in Hong Kong.
The Ghanaian playmaker, who played 63 minutes before being replaced by Brennan Johnson, was instrumental in the 1-0 win, showing composure, creativity, and work rate.
“I thought he was excellent today; his hold-up play, composure on the ball, and ability to navigate tight spaces stood out,” Frank said. “He’s going to excite fans with his attacking flair while also contributing defensively.”
Kudus joined Spurs from West Ham for £55 million earlier this month, becoming Ghana’s most expensive player.
He’ll aim to build on this form when Tottenham face Newcastle on Sunday, followed by Bayern Munich to wrap up pre-season.
