Ghana international Brandon Thomas-Asante produced a stunning display to inspire Coventry City’s 7-1 demolition of Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Saturday.
The Black Stars forward was unplayable at the Coventry Building Society Arena, scoring once and providing two assists in a man-of-the-match performance.
Thomas-Asante doubled Coventry’s lead in the 23rd minute before setting up Haji Wright and Jack Rudoni as the Sky Blues stormed to a 5-0 halftime advantage.
Victor Torp added a second-half brace to seal the emphatic win, with Richard Kone grabbing a late consolation for QPR.
The result underlined Coventry’s attacking firepower, with Thomas-Asante at the heart of everything good going forward.
