Former Hearts of Oak forward Cosmos Dauda climbed off the bench to score for the Omani side Al Seeb in their emphatic 4-0 victory in the Al Riffa from Bahrain in the AFC Cup on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old was introduced as an 85th-minute replacement for Muhsen Al Ghassani and he made an impact by netting the 4th goal of the match in the 92nd minute at the multi-purpose Al-Seeb Stadium in Oman.
The victory has propelled the two-time Omani champions to the semi-final of the competition and would now come face to face with Kuala Lumpur City FC.
The Malaysians booked their ticket to the semi-finals after securing a 5-3 victory over Uzbekistan side Sogdiana Jizzakh in a penalty shootout contest.
Dauda is on his first season with the club and has already scored once in the league.
