Broadcast journalist Benedict Kwadwo Mensah has revealed that Richard Attah is suffering from a groin injury and must go under the knife to get him fit for the season.
The journalist revealed the 27-year-old former Susubiribi Sporting Club shot-stopper has been nursing the injury for some time.
Hearts have already signed a replacement in former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi who is expected to be out for at least four months.
