Aduana FC have heaped praise on newly promoted Hohoe United for the warm and exemplary reception they received during their Matchday 6 clash in the Ghana Premier League.
Despite suffering their first home defeat of the season, Hohoe United have impressed in their debut top-flight campaign. After six games, they have recorded two wins, two draws, and two losses, sitting 10th on the GPL table.
The two-time league champions traveled to the Hohoe Stadium and were welcomed with open arms, a refreshing contrast to the stories of intimidation and hostility that often accompany away fixtures in the local league.
The friendly atmosphere seemed to inspire Aduana, who put on a solid performance to secure a 2-0 victory over the home side.
“Aduana as a club found a good example worthy of emulation in @HohoeUnitedFC yesterday. They are new in the league but far matured in their hospitality. We picked up some vital notes that we will look to understand and implement at our home. Full stadium almost every game,” wrote Aduana CEO Collins Atta Poku.
