Ghana Premier League

There is a team plan for every match, says Hearts of Oak head coach Slavko Matic

Hearts of Oak head coach, Slavko Matic has disclosed that his team will go into the next Ghana Premier League match against Karela United with a different game plan.

According to the gaffer, he is still working on his team to get the best out of his squad.

Speaking in a post-match interview after guiding Hearts of Oak to beat Kotoku Royals last Saturday, Coach Slavko Matic says his team has a plan for every game depending on the kind of opponent.

“We are still working on our team progress. There is more to be done and it is only hard work that will get us there.

“There is a team plan for every match depending on the opponent. Lots of goal-scoring chances were created and yet we failed to utilize them. Tactically it isn’t good so we have to keep working on every aspect of our play. We always have to show winning mentality. The opponent created some decent chances but the good thing is that we prevented them from scoring and fought till the end,” Coach Slavko Matic shared.

Hearts of Oak face off with Karela United next weekend and will be hoping to make it three wins in a row.
