Ghanaian midfielder Kwesi Sibo is still basking in the joy of a dream come true, his debut for the Black Stars.
Sibo was a late addition to Otto Addo’s squad for the crucial FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali.
Despite joining camp just days before the fixture, the 26-year-old was handed a starting role in the high-pressure encounter.
The decision paid off, as Sibo delivered a composed and confident performance in midfield, helping Ghana secure a vital win to stay top of Group I.
“There are no words to describe what I have experienced these past few days,” Sibo wrote on Instagram, capturing the emotional weight of the moment.
“I hope this is the beginning of a wonderful adventure. I am proud and grateful for the welcome I have received from my teammates and country. It is the best gift possible,” he added.
