The season has not gone according to plan  – Legon Cities Communications Director

Legon Cities Communications Director Kwame Dwomoh has opened up on the club’s challenges following their relegation from the Ghana Premier League.

Legon Cities’ relegation was confirmed on Monday after a 4-1 defeat to Nations FC.

After years in the top flight, Legon Cities are set to go down to Ghana’s Division One.

Looking back at the season, Legon Cities’ Communications Director told 3Sports,

“This season has been a tough one, the results have not gone according to plan. We had very high hopes at the start of the season but the results have simply not been great.”

Despite being relegated with three games to spare, Dwomoh opted not to pin the sides inadequacy to a specific problem.

“I wouldn’t want to say it will be a specific challenge but ultimately it will boil down to result,” he added
