Spokesperson to the Ghana Football Association Henry Asante Twum has reaffirmed the Black Stars’ are determine for their remaining two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches.
Ghana will crossed sword with Angola on November 15, at the Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda before facing Niger at Accra Sports Stadium on 18 November.
Despite some notable players invited by coach Otto Addo have withdrawn from the squad due to injury issues and personal reason, Henry has opined the team is ready for Niger and Angola
“The players are determined to put up a good performance,” he assured during an interview with Asempa FM
“The technical team held a meeting with the players to know the task ahead of them and the players are ready to give out their best in their final games.
“We know it wouldn’t be easy knowing the circumstances, but the players are ready to give their best,” he added.
The team is expected to leave Ghana to Angola today ahead of the game on Friday.
Ghana currently occupy third position in Group F, with just two points from four games, behind both Angola and Sudan.
