Minister for Sports and Recreation Kofi Adams, has sent an encouraging message to the Black Queens as they prepare for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Adams praised the team’s progress and determination in women’s football, saying, “You’ve been bold, focused, and fearless — and for that, we salute you.” He assured the team of the government’s unwavering support, promising, “We will continue to do ours — through investment, exposure, and the right structures to help you succeed.”
The Black Queens, led by Coach Kim Lars Björkegren, are determined to make a mark in the tournament.
Ghana is grouped with defending champions South Africa, Mali, and Tanzania in Group C.
