Slavko Matic head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak has stated that their defeat to Real Tamale United (RTU) on Sunday is painful.
The Tamale-based side secured an impressive 1-0 win over the Phobians in the matchday 16 game at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Ex-Hearts of Oak midfielder Umar Manaf scored a stunner as the home side secured all three points.
In a post-match interview, coach Matic added that there are more games to get points but they must continue to work hard.
“We must continue to work hard we were punished for our mistakes for our chances we didn’t score. Of course more games 18 games we have still chance we must believe more the defeat is painful of course,” he said.
“But we must continue tomorrow is a new day we must prepare for next match we carry next match of course this is football,”
The Phobians are 5th on the league table with 25 points after 16 games.
