For ten years, Real Madrid is no longer the only one to shine in the Spanish capital, and Atlético Madrid regularly shakes up the hierarchy. Winners of two of the last eight editions of the Spanish championship, the Colchoneros have made a place for themselves in the gratin of Spanish football. In 2017, they equipped themselves with a new stadium, the Wanda Metropolitano, to match their ambition. A brand new setting with 68,000 seats that have not struggled to fill up since its opening.

97% renewal

And that should not change for this new exercise. Indeed, last year, they were 57,048 to have taken their subscription. This year, 97% have already extended their adventure, i.e. 55,000, as reported by the daily brand. The objective is now to reach the 58,000 mark. The club has put the last annual tickets on sale, and this should quickly go before the first match of the season at home, on Sunday August 21 against Villarreal. The Rojiblancos are betting a lot on the subscription campaign which allows them a certain influx of money each season, and it seems to be working.

to summarize

Atlético Madrid continues to unleash passions among its supporters, they should break the record for the number of subscribers for this new exercise. 97% of last season’s 57,000 subscribers renewed their ticket.
