The Ghana coach had to ride an early storm after one of the players he omitted from the squad claim Tetteh had picked many of the players after money had changed hands.

Tetteh’s have however managed the put the damaging allegations behind them even though there is an ongoing investigation and have looked an efficient unit so far.

And the coach is determined to turn the negative publicity into positive energy for his players.

“I have learnt a few things from that but more importantly I have been strengthened by all that,” he told KickOffGhana.com. “I want my players on the field to speak for my sense of judgement and so far they have done a good job.”   Despite playing one of the most attractive brands of football at the tournament, Tetteh insist his side cannot be considered favourites yet and prefers to call them rank outsiders.
