Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe has expressed his desire for future Black Stars call-ups after making his debut for Ghana in their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Monday.
At just 23 years old, Yegbe was named in the starting eleven by coach Otto Addo for the match against Niger albeit the Black Stars suffered a 2-1 defeat.
Yegbe had featured for the Black Meteors before the dream senior national team invitation.
“I will be happy to get the invitation again after this first one into the Black Stars team,” Yegbe told Kickoffghana.com in an interview.
“Although it depends on your performance at the club level, and we have so many defenders, which gives the manager a headache in making selections, I am looking forward to playing for the Black Stars again,” he added.
The Black Stars finished at the bottom of Group F, having been winless and ultimately failed to qualify for AFCON 2025.
