The Tema club were ducked and will finish in the bottom three of the league regardless of what happens in their final league game of the season against All Blacks on Sunday. The protest against Tema Youth’s use of Emmanuel Clottey was brought by Berekum Arsenals who say the player had not been registered properly when he joined Youth from a stint in Austria and Denmark. The Berekum won the argument in a long drawn hearing but Youth say it won’t end there. Winfred Osei Parma, chief executive of the club told KickOffGhana.com that they will appeal for a decision and file for a stay of executive at the GFA until a final determination has been made. If the ruling is confirmed, it will mark the end of the club’s four year stay in the Ghana top flight.
