Germany-born winger of Ghanaian descent, Justin Diehl was in action for the Germany U19 team on Tuesday in the friendly match against the Spain U19 team.

The talented teenager started for the Germans in a game played after the team defeated their Swiss counterparts.

In the game against Spain, Justin Diehl was presented with an early chance in the 4th minute but his flick effort missed the post.

Three minutes later, the Spaniards were presented with a good chance and made it count to take the lead.

Fabio Gomez went on a good run on the right side of the attack and found Cesar Perez in the centre with a good pass.

The forward picked his slot and fired his effort into the back of the net to give the Spain U19 team the lead.

Although the Germans will dominate the game for the remaining minutes of the contest, the team could not score and had to settle for a narrow defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
