Techiman Heroes recorded a 1-0 win over Steadfast FC in the Access Bank Division One League. Ebenezer Agyapong scored the only goal of the game for Techiman Heroes in the 70th minute to take them on top of the League in Zone 1 A with 28 points.
Still in Zone One, Victory Club Warriors pip Northern City 1-0 to keep the pressure on Techiman Heroes in Zone 1 A. Kojo Deladem in the 50th minute, scored the winning goal to give his side all the spoils. Three points separate second placed Victory Club Warriors from league leaders Techiman Heroes.
Elsewhere, Techiman Liberty Youth moved atop of the table in Zone 1 B following their 2-1 victory over Debibi United as all 3 goals were scored inside the first half. Sabiri Toahere got the first goal for the visitors in the 28th minute before Abdul Samed Yakubu netted the equalizer for Techiman Liberty Youth in the 41st minute as Amin Adam sealed victory for the home side in the 4th minute of added time before the half time whistle.
