Former Ghana Football Association president, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has asked Black Stars coach Otto Addo to include Asamoah Gyan in his squad list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The nation’s all-time top-scorer had expressed his desire to be in Ghana’s fold for the global tournament despite not playing active football for over a year.
The 37-year-old left Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities in 2021.
Speaking to Angel TV, Tamakloe believes Gyan can be trusted and should be called.
“I still insist we take Asamoah Gyan to the World Cup. We could give him 10 to 15 minutes of playing time each time because I think he can change games. He is one person I can trust,” Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe stated.
Ghana has been drawn in Group H against Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
