Super Clash: Asante Kotoko IMC chief Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua confident of victory against Hearts of Oak

Chairman of the Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committee, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua is confident of victory ahead of their clash against Hearts of Oak.

The two most glamourous clubs in the country will battle it out in the Ghana Premier League week 14 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The Phobians will play as a host to Kotoko in Kumasi after being forced to relocate following the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium by the National Sports Authority.

Speaking ahead of the titanic clash, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua has urged the fans of Kotoko to troop to the stadium as he believe his side will emerge as winners in the epic clash.

“I’m sure Kotoko will defeat Hearts on Sunday, so our supporters should show up in large numbers so we can all celebrate the win. We will give Hearts of Oak money because that is what they want, and we (Kotoko) will take all three points” he told Akoma FM

Asante Kotoko are 7th on the Ghana Premier League table with 19 points whiles Hearts of Oak sit 8th spot with 16 points after 13 games.
