As Inter Milan prepare to battle Paris Saint-Germain in Saturday night’s UEFA Champions League final, one of their former heroes, Sulley Muntari, believes his old club has the edge.
Muntari, who played a crucial role in Inter’s historic 2010 treble-winning season, says the current team has the maturity to deliver the Nerazzurri their first European crown in 15 years.
“I think Inter Milan are building up their team,” he told 3Sports.
“They are very strong, let’s see. They are more experienced now, matured. Inter Milan have a really strong and well-experienced team.”
Inter Milan’s road to the final included a thrilling victory over Barcelona, rekindling memories of their golden era.
But standing in their way is PSG, a side desperate to make history with a maiden Champions League title.
The French champions, who fell short in the 2021 final, are hoping this is finally their year.
