Striker Mahatma Otoo pledges future to Hearts

Striker Mahatma Otoo says he has no intentions of leaving Hearts of Oak any time soon.

The 20-year-old is reportedly on his way out to joining an European club when the January transfer window opens.

The ex Sporting Mirren striker has recently undergone trials in Turkey.

He however insists he is in no haste to leave Hearts who are struggling in the Ghanaian top flight.

“I am in no rush to leave the club,” said.

“Things are not going on well and I have to stay as the leader to help get the team back on track.

“There is a transition going on in the team and the fans should exercise a little patience as we will get back to our best very soon.”

Otoo joined Hearts in 2009 and had a brief loan spell with Tunisian club Esperance.
