England-born forward, Eddie Nketiah scored a brace on Monday night to lead Arsenal to a heavy 3-0 win against Oxford United in the third Round of the English FA Cup.
The young striker today started for the Gunners in the away fixture of the English Premier League club against the lower-tier side.
Despite a dominating performance from Arsenal in the first half, the team could not score as the two teams went into the break on level pegging.
After recess, Arsenal decided to be more clinical in front of the goal, and their efforts paid off.
First, Egyptian midfielder Mohammed Elneny equalised in the 63rd minute to shoot the hosts into the lead.
Later on, Eddie Nketiah made the contest his own as he netted a brace with goals in the 70th and 76th minutes respectively.
With Oxford United failing to get anything out of the game, Arsenal held on to secure a 3-0 win and qualification to the next round of the English FA Cup.
