Ghanaian attacker Antoine Semenyo secured a vital victory for AFC Bournemouth with his goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux in the English Premier League.
The 24-year-old capitalized on a chance in the box to clinch his eighth goal of the season in the English top flight.
He returned to the starting lineup after overcoming an illness in the last couple of days.
His tally of eight Premier League goals this season makes him the leading Ghanaian scorer in the league, surpassing Mohammed Kudus of West Ham, who has seven goals to his name.
Semenyo’s outstanding performances earned him a nomination for the Player of the Month award for March, although the honor ultimately went to Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz.
