Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo has agreed a new five year contract extension with AFC Bournemouth until 2029.
The announcement comes as a testament of the Semenyo’s outstanding outing at the club in the 2023/2024 English Premier League campaign.
After the 24 year old inked the new deal, AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: “It has been clear for all to see the rate of Antoine’s development since joining 18 months ago. He has gone from strength to strength, and enjoyed an incredible first full season with us.
“Agreeing on a new long-term contract was important for us to recognise his contribution as a key member of our squad, and we’re excited to see this continue for years to come.”
Semenyo became a key player for head coach Andoni Iraola last season, making 36 appearances across all competitions and scoring eight goals.
The 24-year-old signed from Bristol City in January 2023 and initially joined on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
