Asante Kotoko emerged victorious against Hearts of Oak in a five goal thriller at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Linda Mtange’s broke the deadlock on 39th minutes to put Hearts of Oak in the lead.
Kotoko levelled the scoreline on the stroke of halftime through Isaac Oppong to end the first half in stalemate.
Back from the break, Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala netted twice on 56th and 77th minutes to hand the Porcupines a 3-1 advantage.
Karikari netted in injury time to ensure a nervy finish but Kotoko held firm to take way all three points.
Prosper Narteh Ogum’s side are in seventh on 22 points while Hearts drop to ninth with 16 points.
